Michelle Obama: Beautiful?

You’ve got to read this post at Ace of Spades about Michelle Obama and the near-incessant media praise of her beauty and bold fashion sense. My first laugh-so-hard-I-choked moment was when I read this:

This insistence — apparently on the square, too — that the gargantuan sasquatch Michelle Obama is beautiful and puts to shame a top fashion model is positively ludicrous.

The whole discussion falls right on the crack in the debate about whether we righties should mimic the vicious tactics of the left or try to stay true to our mostly-shared belief in personal restraint and following social mores.
